Commercial Kitchen FRP Panels in Calgary
FRP wall panels for Calgary restaurant and commercial kitchens: prep, dish, dry storage and walk-in cooler walls, sealed to pass health inspection.
We install FRP wall panels in Calgary restaurants and commercial kitchens so walls are smooth, non-absorbent and easy to sanitize, with sealed joints and full trim that hold up to daily washdowns.
Where FRP goes in a commercial kitchen
- Cook line and hood walls (where the finish schedule allows)
- Prep and dish areas
- Dry storage and walk-in cooler walls
- Service entrances, mechanical and janitor rooms
- Back-of-house washrooms
Built to pass inspection
Alberta food premises rules require walls in food areas to be smooth, durable, non-absorbent and easy to clean. We install to your approved drawings, use full-height panels to keep horizontal seams out of the splash zone, put division bars at every vertical joint and seal joints and terminations with food-safe silicone where required.
Working around your schedule
Kitchen buildouts are tight. We sequence with the GC so FRP goes on before equipment is set, and we can run evenings or weekends for renovations in operating restaurants. Daily cleanup is part of the job.
Common questions
Is FRP approved for commercial kitchens in Alberta?
Alberta food premises rules call for smooth, durable, non-absorbent and easily cleanable walls in food handling areas, and FRP is one of the most common ways to meet that. Your local health inspector has the final say, so we install to the drawings and finish schedule your project was approved with, including sealed joints with food-safe sealant where it is required.
Should FRP go up before kitchen equipment is installed?
Yes. Installing FRP before walk-in coolers, shelving and cook line equipment are set gives full coverage behind the equipment and avoids return trips. If equipment is already in place we can still install, but coverage behind it and any return visits are priced separately.
How much does FRP installation cost in Calgary?
Price depends on the square footage, wall height, how cut up the layout is (doors, outlets, corners, equipment), the substrate, and whether the work is after hours. Open walls go much faster than a busy kitchen line. Send us your drawings or the room sizes and we will send back a free, itemized quote.
